Excellence In Ministry

October's theme is Excellence in Ministry and our key verse for the month is from 2 Corinthians 3:3

You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

We have been blessed to have two missionary teams come to DCHS to tell us about how the Lord is working to save the lost through their ministries. The Platts talked to us about the work they are doing in Turkey and the Walkers shared all of the things they are doing in Israel. Both teams have met many people because of their work as missionaries and have had the privilege of leading people to a relationship with God.

We are getting close to J-term and I hope that each of you will use the month of January to seek what God would have you do for his kingdom. The ministry that you serve in does not have to be missions. As it states in our key verse for the month, God uses each of our talents to write on the hearts of HIS people. Think about what you are good at and see how you can use it for GOD!
