The senior class of 2009 will be graduating from Delmarva Christian High School on Friday, May 29, 2009. This is a very exciting time for seniors. As seniors we are venturing into an entirely different world and leaving behind the comfort of DCHS. We have grown close to the students and staff at DCHS and have thousands of great memories. We are going to miss DCHS and are truly thankful for the education, life lessons, and the spiritual training that DCHS has provided. But like I said this is an exciting time. We now get to put into practice everything that we have learned. We get to go to college or the work force and mature into adults. Fresh opportunities are going to present themselves and we are ready to take advantage of them, in order to give God glory.
On behalf of the senior class I want to say thank you to anyone and everyone that we have come in contact with throughout our education at Delmarva Christian High School. I want to thank the board and administration for envisioning this great high school and putting forth time, energy, and finances to make DCHS a possibility. I think I speak for the entire senior class when I say, "I wouldn't want to go to high school anywhere but Delmarva Christian High School."
Thank You For Everything!

Chapel and Dodge Ball
Chapel:
Today we had Pastor Marc Hannah speak about forgiveness. The message really had an impact on the students and staff at DCHS. Pastor Marc spoke from Matthew 18:21-35, which is the parable of the unforgiving debtor. in this passage a servant had a debt that he would never live to repay. In turn his master should have thrown him in prison until he could repay his debt, however after the servant begged the master forgave his servants entire debt. The servant then left his master and confronted a man who was in debt to him. The debtor begged the servant and asked for time to repay his reasonable debt. The servant then had the man thrown in prison to be tortured until he could fulfill his debt. The passage then goes on to say that the actions of the servant were discovered by his master. The master was enraged by the servant's unforgiveness and had him thrown in prison. God uses this parable to illustrate how we as Christians need to be forgiving the people that wrong us in order to receive forgiveness from God.

Dodge Ball Tournament:
May 15th 4pm to 7pm
DCHS will be holding it's first Dodge Ball Tournament! It will take place in the DCHS gym.
We are all getting very excited and would love for everyone to come out and watch as the teams face off in a grueling tournament of Dodge Ball. DCHS students, friends and families are all invited. There will be a $2.00 entrance fee for spectators that will not be competing that night. The concession stand will be open to satisfy your hunger, so don't forget to bring a couple dollars.
I hope you can make it out May 15th for DCHS's first dodge ball tournament.
