Homecoming!

Homecoming is a unique tradition at DCHS. This year homecoming is on September 27th.

At 11:00 am our homecoming games against St. Thomas More begin. Volleyball (JV and Varsity) soccer, and field hockey teams will be playing.

At 12:30 pm our fellowship BBQ begins. After the games we have a lunch BBQ for all the students, fans, and opposing teams. Everyone is welcome!

From 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm all students are invited back to DCHS for a carvial hosted by the SLC. There will be a bonfire, smores, popcorn, hotdogs, drinks, and tons of games. There is no admission fee, but we will be selling tickets for a quarter ($0.25) each, which will be the way we charge for games and food. So please be sure to bring some spending money.

Homecomeing is not something exclusively for athletes, we want the whole school to be involved, so I hope you can make it to the 2008 DCHS homecoming games and carvial.

Parents, if you want to volunteer to help with the homecoming please email Kathy Bryan at kbryan@delmarvachristian.com

Thanks,
Meg

SLC Update!

This past Monday we held elections for the sophomore and freshmen students that wanted to be on the SLC.

The result of these elections are as follows:

Spiritual Emphasis: Andrew Hazzard and Tyler Collins
School Spirit: Jordyn Gum and Haley Embleton
Community Outreach: Mallary Gum and Kyle Kokjohn
Social Coordination: Rebecca Bryan and Olivia Esopsito

Congratulations to everyone!!

Today's chapel was very applicable to our student body. As we are striving for excellence remember that we are each accountable to God as well as each other. In being accountable we must be humble and honest. We should care about one another and trust them. This doesn't just apply to your small group of friends, but we should trust and care about Christians in general. Thank you Mr. James for being obedient to God and sharing that message.

Spirit week is next week!

In case you forget...

Tuesday: Superhero/ Pirate/ Ninja Day

There will also be a pep rally on friday so please do not wear a skirt :)
